Clanmil is a social housing provider with almost 3,000 units of accommodation and circa 200 staff throughout Northern Ireland. The culmination of 4 years of hard work on recognising and valuing the commitment of Clanmil staff was recognised by the successful award of the Investors in People accreditation in 2005 and re-accreditation in 2008. In March 2007, Clanmil won the Working Families Institute of Directors National Award for Small Business. Clanmil were the only company in Northern Ireland shortlisted for the award. In June 2009, the Association won the Health and Well Being category of the Business in the Community Awards. The spirit with which these benefits are offered to staff is one of a genuine wish to enrich both home and work life and to make Clanmil an “Employer of Choice”. The package is innovative and vibrant, and a leaflet summarising the package is available for download.
