Best Housing Association for Social Enterprise

25 October 2018

Clanmil Housing has received the top prize in the Housing Association category at this year’s Social Enterprise NI Awards.

The awards, which were presented at a gala event in The Stormont Hotel in Belfast, showcase the work of the social enterprise sector in Northern Ireland.  There were more than 100 entries this year and the ceremony was attended by over 400 guests from social enterprise, private and public sectors.

This is the third year in a row that Clanmil’s social impact has been recognised at the Social Enterprise Awards. The Association took the top spot for Social Impact in both 2016 and 2017.

Tim O’Malley, Community Development Manager at Clanmil said:

“At Clanmil we are committed to focussing our resources where they will have the most social impact for tenants, for the neighbourhoods where we have homes and for the communities where we work. From employability programmes, to money advice, our work on Shared Neighbourhoods and our Community Development Programmes, our staff, tenants and Tenant Associations work together to create communities and put social value at the heart of what we do.

“We are absolutely delighted to have this work recognised at the Social Enterprise Awards for the third year running.”
